Austin of the recent marriage of Mrs. Melba Woolf Fair* banks and Major Harold Flynn Marrs in the Protestant chapel at Fort Jay, Governors island,N. Y.The couple was attended by the bride’s sister, Miss Maurine Woolf of Columbia, Mo. as maid of honor and Major Henry Palmer, recently of Verdun, France as bestroan.A reception following the ceremony was held at the Officers’ club. Miss Eleanor Oechi of Verdun, France of* ficiated at the guest book. Donald Woolf of South Farm* ingdale, N. Y. entertained the couple at a dinner at the Mariner's Inn. Northport, L.L the evening before the ceremony. Mr. Woolf is the grandson of Mrs. Austin and nephew of Mrs. Marrs.The bride is well known to Memphis and Scotland county residents serving as fieldrepresentative for the American Red Cross being in Memphis several times during the year working with the county Red Cross chapter, for about six years. From this position she went to Europe w here she was still in the Red Crossfield, havinu returned severalmonths ago. to the states.The couple will make their home at Fort Hood, Tex.ONE OF THE FAVORIT
