HIGHLIGHTING PALM SPRINGS duty forAir Reservist Douglas Dumont, left, on Monday was the pinning of new bars denoting the rank of captain by Maj. Stephen Briggs of Indio. Capt Dumont, a jet pilot who lives in Hemet, got official notification of his boost in rank during his | annual two-week training tour with the Palm Springs Air Recovery Squadron at the local airport where he is the assistant operations officer.
