Au?. 16.—The Atlantic division of the American Red Cross, acting on instructions from Red Cross authorities in Washington, has asked the chanters within its jurisdiction to make 510.000 of the million and a half kndtted sets urgently needed by soldiers and civilians abroad.This apportionment, the largest of any Red Crn?s division in the country, was made on the basis of one knitted pet to about every two of the 1 236 -*40 members in the division which rovers Connecticut.
