DuFresne Injured In Vietnam MishapRICHMOND — Petty Officer 2.C. Paul DuFresne. son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond DuFresne of Yokun Road, was seriously injured in an accident Aug. 5 at the Vietnam base where he had been stationed since early July.DuFresne is now at the U.S. Naval Hospital at St. Albans, N.Y. His leg was broken in two places and his foot mangled, his mother said, when an air compressor he was using broke and pinned him against a rock ledge. He was instructing someone in the use of the compressor at the time.De Fresno will remain at St. Albans for about six weeks and then move to a hospital in Rome, N.Y. where he will be nearer his wife and four children. who live in Waterloo, N.Y. When the accident occurred, DuFresne had just started his second 10-month tour of duty in Vietnam.
