EX-SOLDIER DOMES TO COLLECT DATA FOR COUNTY WAR HISTORYArrangements made last winter to have B, F. Heed .write a history of Kossuth county’s war activities were upset by his death. W. E. Hunter, a Woodbine soldier who was teaching history and economics in the Cherokee high school before he joined the colors, was later entrusted with the work, and. he arrived Saturday to begin gathering the required data. This will take three weeks, more or less. The history will be written later. Three typewritten copies will be bound. At some future time the work may be printed. Mr. Hunter was in the army aviation service, but did not gat overseas. He was stationed at a flying field in California, and was for a time instructor in aviation. He graduated from the state university of Iowa in 1917, and will resume teaching at Cherokee next month.
