Oklahoma Paper In Comment,In connection with this citation; a recent-issue of an Alva, Okla., papersaid*Captain McCormick is the son of Rev, and Mrs, E. V. McCormick, who formerly resided here but are now living at Kearney, Neb,, the elder Mr, ‘McCormick having resigned as pastor of the Christian church here to accept a similar place at Kearney. Capt. McCormick never lived here, but has been in Alva several times on visits. - His brother John is here now,“While we have never been able to get full particulars of the dangers Captain • McCormick encountered, we recall the Rev.
