J. FRED ERNST DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESSJ, Fred Ernst, 63, died Monday morning at seven o'clock following an illness of about live years, Death was tlio result of cancer ot the bowel from which lie suffered severely the last few, months. Funeral arrangements are not complete as yet.J, Fred Ernst was born in Germany, April 30, 1867, and came lo America about fifty-one years ago hi April. Mr. Ernst has lived on farms near Humboldt since coming to America. Nino years ago he moved his family into Humboldt where they hijve lived since.He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, one son Frank of Winona, Minn., two daughters, Clara Eisler of Humboldt and Esther at home, two sisters, Amelia Schindler of Texas and one sister In Germany, two brothers, GoLtlieb of Germany, and F/F. Ernst of Humboldt, and eight grand^hftldrem Funeral services will Be held at the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock and burial to be made at the Union cemetery.
