Serviceman Is Honored At Party Sunday NightWAKEFIELD—A-3c William XoiV pela was honored at ; a combined ‘-'farewell and furlough” parly Sunday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Waino Korpela.A social time was held,' and a program presented included'a talk and several vocal selections by the Rev. Kalle Ekonen of New York City, and a talk by William’sgreat unde, August Ronn of IronBelt.The honor guest was presented with a purse at money. .Lunch was served to 75 guests by the hostesses, Mrs, Nick Hcngisto and'Mrs. John Rcnn.Airman Korpela arrived hexe re-cently from Chaute Air Force Base, 111., to spend a 15 day furlough with his parents. He will leave August13, for Camp Kilmer, N. Y., for overseas duly at the Pepperel AirJ’ Force Base in Newfoundland. He is serving with the weather observation corps.
