Memorial Service for Pvt. WardAt 4 p.m.; Sunday, Augpst 13, the Rev. Jesse Dodds, will conduct a memorial service at the First Methodist church in Maywood for Pvt. Raymond Ward, a paratrooper, who was killed in France on June 12.Overseas since September, 1943, Pvt. Ward, had been in service since August, 1942. Two brothers, Harold and Percy, are also in service somewhere overseas.Five brothers and three sisters, in-addition to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Ward of 409 South 10th avenue, survive the deceased serviceman.
