VETERAN JEWISH JUDGES TURNED OUT FROM POSITIONS IN NEW OUSTER SWEEPBerlin (J. T. A.)—Three of the old- (est Jewish judges in Berlin, Dr. Metz, (Dr. Citron and Dr. Sontag, were dis- -jmissed from their profession at the ,order of the ministry of justice. More 'jthan 34 Jewish notaries and 110 Jew- ,ish lawyers, most of whom were prae- ,ticing in Berlin, also were dismissed. (At the same time the University of ]Berlin announced the dismissal of Pro- lt;fessor William Stern, internationally known psychologist.The ministry of justice also dis- jcharged Dr. Max Meyer from his post 1of president of the Land Court. 1Sixteen Jewish university professors ]and dozens of Jews holding other posi- {tions were dismissed in Hamburg.
