BW The excitement at Troy has nearly subsided. The soldiers doing very little damage, outside of breaking open several houses, bruising several citizens, burning an old bouse and iu contents (in Max-ville) which was occupied by a man named McDaniels, and setting fire to two or three stables. Quite modest!! The citizens of Troy should be thankful that they did not blow up the town.
