Craig, tu Commanding General of the Oth Su Infantry Division, for heroic' He ichievemcnt in action as a member so tf Company “B” of the famous WOth Tank Destroyer Battalion.His citation reads, “On 10 July fo 944 in the vicinity of Goucherie, M; O'nnco, advancing against strong-y fortified enemy positions, Sgt. \vl \refuser's section of M-10 Tank gr )estroyers moved forward in close te aipport of the assault elements of to he infantry. In command of two iiv ank destroyers, Sgt. Arduser as- hi] listed in destroying eight enemy te:nachine gun emplacements and on ‘orcing the gun crew of a 75mm th inti tank gun to abandon their ha veapons.
