After Flagg escaped the cattlemen fired hts wagon and running it against the house |In Indian Fashion,set Are to the building, burning up the two men, Champion and Kay. who had fought them all day.The cattlemen then started toward Buffalo and the rustlers organized and went forth to meet them.The cattlemen learned of the advance otthe rustlers, and took shelter in the T. A. ranch. 13 miles from Buffalo.About 2 o'clock Monday morning the rustlers reached the ranch and surrounded the invaders, and at daylight the latter openmi tiro upon the besiegers. *Shots were exchanged all day long, but the number ot killed and injured cannot at present bo learned.The cattlemen, with their horses, are safelv barricaded inside the runch buildings, but one of thum escaped through the attacking party, presumably ou the w ay for reinforcements.The results of the day's battle at the T. A. ranch are cs yet unknown.Couriers are scouring the country for reinforcements for the rustlers, and they are rapidly corning in, they claim they will be 200 or 800 stronger tonight, and able to handle any force the invaders can muster.The acting mayor of Buffalo has called on the Governor for a company of the Htate raiJittft at Buffalo, to be given to the sheriff to quell the disturbance.
