HoII of Honor PFC. Clarence Mead to enter hospital in Washington, D. C.t where he will receive treatment for wounds sustained shortly after landing In Africa. He was shot In the leg, crushing the bones-Awarded the Purple Heart for bravery. Now at his home southeast of Haggard on a 30-day sifck leave before entering hospital, Hubert McQehee* son of Mr. and Mrs, W* R. MeGehee of Hugo-ten, interned in Italy. Was tank and truck driver in North Africa.Clarence W. Ingraham, Horace, prisoner of Jans in Philippines.
