Eight Tons of Wehrmaeht Records Found in CavesMUNICH. April 16 (AP)—Eight tons of German military records, listing names of thousands of Waf-fen SS troopers and Wehrmaeht soldiers, have been found hidden in caves along the Main River, Military Government officials (announced today.The records included court martial documents showing many soldiers were shot for “political crimes” charged against them by Gestapo agents.
