The deceased was 92 1years old.] ,1Henry Lanham was bom six miles ,north of this city in the Center Grove i neighborhood on March. 19, 1824. He 1 ( married a Miss Brison at the age of ,» 22. To this union six children were *dbom. A number of years after the 1death * of his wife he was united in ]marriage to Mrs. Sarah Mitchell Crawford, who survives him. This marriage was in 1873. During the past twelve years Mr. and Mrs. Lanham have resided ,in this city. The j deceased was one of the best known [ and resected of *he pioneer farmersc/l the county and was a striking example of the hardy settlers who were instrumental in placing the state andcounty in the advanced state of progress which they now enjoy. Universal trespect and admiration was accorded him by all who knew him.The children of the deceased iwereWillis Edgar Lanham, George W. Lanham, Cortez E. Lanham, of this city; Mrs. Ollie Golay, of Richland; Mrs. IHenry McKay, who died one year ago, and the late John W. Lanham. Anumber of grandchildren also survive The funeral services will be held atthe home on North Broadway on Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Rev.W. H. Reynolds, of the Presbyterianchurch, will have charge of the services. Burial at South Park.
