WITH THE 77THPrivate Prank Zubic, son of Mr. and Mrs Paul Zubic, of Le-mont, has been assigned to the' medical detachment of the 306th Infantry of the T7th Division;' now being activated at Port Jackson. S. C.The 77th is Port Jackson’s newest division. Known as the “Metropolitan Division,1’ the 77th had a brilliant World War history and was made famous by the bravery of its “Lost Battalion.”The new division is under the command of Major General Robert L. Eichelbereer, former superintendent of the Mititary Academy at West Point.Private Zubic, a professional baseball player for the iast eight years, hopes to play with an Army team this season. He got his start in baseoall with the local American Legion team, and last season was manager of the Utica Braves in the Canadian-American LeagueHe attended North Union high school, where *he was a member
