PLAN HORSE-SHOE PITCHER’S LEAGUE WITH FOUR TEAMSGeorge Smith of Latty's Grovt i team, last evening was placed iu charge of the organization of tne horse-slioe pitching branch of the Twilight Recreation League.Plans ‘ are to form a league of at least four -teams selected from different parts of town, which will compete by-’regular schedu’e, probably' meeting tweee a week on courts to he installed on Kingsbury P.ak. The aim is to foster the game on courts in various parts of the city with the league games at the park. Already the j courts at Latty’H grove have been placed in service again and n?w ones have been constructed in the west part of Defiance just back of Louy's Grocery, Perry btreet, on the bed otito- Miami and Erie canal. Al. Thune-man bas been named to organize a team around that courtFred A. Bokop and Claude Skiver will be called upon in an effort tchave them organize teams.Each team will consist of ten men eight of whom can play at a time.
