Frazier, ejected from the plane and parachuted safely I* before it came down in the F open field near Andover, Kan.,|c 20 miles east of Wichita, nar rowly missing a silo on the (farm. 'Frazier, who is undergoingL training as an F105 instructor at McConnell, recently returned from flying more than 100 combat missions in Vietnam. He was taken to the base hospital at McConnell for a checkup and was reported to be in good condition.It was the first F105 crash atMcConnell this year, and t h e 29th since June 19, 1964, when the planes were assigned to the Wichita Air Force base.Frazier is assigned to the 562nd Technical Fighter Squad ron, and lives off base at Derby, Kan., with his family.
