Jf accepted they will be put 011 the active list and will be expected to respond immediately to any call from the Government.When in Government service the aides will be paid fifty dollars a month when on duty in the United States. This will be increased to sixty dollars for overseas duty. If employed in a hospital they will be given quarters and subsistence in addition. If not employed in a hospital they will be given twelve dollars a month to pay for quarters and from one dollar to a dollar and a quarter a day for subsistence.The courses commenced yesterday and will continue for the next eight weeks.
