Memorialfor Sgt. John JustusA memorial service will be held at Peace Evangelical Church, Twenty-seventh avenue and Grant Street, Sunday, April 8 at 2:30 p. m. for Staff Sergeant John Justus who was killed in action January 24, 1945, on Luzon, Philippine Islands. Staff Sergeant Justus was leading an attack against an enemy position when he was struck by enemy fire which killed him instantly. He is buried in a United States Armed Forces Cemetery in the vicinity of San Fabian, Luzon; his burial service was one befitting his faith'HCTCJohn was an excellent leader who was liked by both officers and men alike. He died for a good cause so that all we Americans might remain a free people. His loss will be felt by his regiment as well as by his many friends in Bellwood and vicinity.tus,STThe services at the church will be conducted in the English and German language.S/Sgt.
