City.GERMAN LETTERREVEALS FACTSAccording to the Hopkins Journal a family of that place received a letter from relatives they have in Ger-' All ma'l i? opened and closely read, so this letter starts out by saying the family was well and happy »nd getting along nwely and closed by saying to be sure and remove the stamp on the envelope as it might prove valuable at the close of the war. So much stress was laid on saving the stamp that it was steamed and carefully removed and on the back of it was written: ‘WE ARE STARVING/'
