Orln Vinson Christy.CENTERVILLE — Onn VinsonChristy, 78 of Numa, died at • a.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital, where he had been sinceMarch 19.He was born in Iowa. July 25, j 1877, the son of Abner and Emma Piercefield Christy. He was married in 1901 to Martha Magnall, who survives He was a retired coal miner and had been a resident of Numa for many years.He is survived besides his wife.„•« „■*£ VN’e/V t * •' *• ’ Vi'. ' X. ‘ ’ -VT7 . * • ^Ni j *h7-V C r ’ ' ’■by two daughters, Mrs. Edna Rear and Mrs. Ethel Murphy, I both of Urbana, 111.; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Barriekman of Seymour and Mrs. Bertha Briggen-hurst of Kirksville, Mo.; tw-o grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.The body is at the Johnson funeral home here. The service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian church at Numa, where the casket will be taken at noon. The Rev. Bruce B. Matthews of the Drake Avenue Christian church here will be in charge. Burial wnll be in theNuma cemetery.
