CONSTITUTION PREPARED.Afro-American \Votnsn’s League the Outgrowth of Heston Meeting.The executive committee ntul tlie committee having under consideration the constitution cf the national federation of Afro-American women, which was formed in this city lust August out of a national conference of American colored women, have, through the chairman of the executive committee Ictoria Earle Matthews of New York, Just reported the new constitution Of li e organization and the complete list ofofficers.The constitution In brief states that the organisation, which was formed last summer In Boston, will be known as th National Federation of Afro-Americanwomen. Its object is the concentration of dormant energies of the women of the Afro-American race into Olio broad bond of sisterhood tor the purpose of establishing needed reforms; to awaken the women of the race to the great need of systematic effort In home-making and the divinely imposed duller of motherhood.All women's clubs whose work is embraced in tho object of the organization are eligible to membership. The organization Is to meet annually, subject to thv appointment of the executive committee.The officers are: .Mis Booker T.
