New Listings*CULVER CITY — MGM Grand Hotels Inc, and Metro-Goldwin-Mayer Film Co. were listed for the first time this week on the New York Stock Exchange.The two cmpanies, which are separate, publicly held firms derived from the former MGM lac., started trading their common stocks under the symbols of MGM (Metro-Goldwin-Mayer)and GRH (Grand Hotel),.Common stock certificates of Met-ro-GoIdwin-Mayer Film will be distributed on June 16 to stockholders of Metro-Goldwin-Mayer Inc.Fred Benninger is chairman and chief executive officer of MGM Grand Hotels, operating presently at the Las Vegas Grand Hotel.Frank E. Roaenfelt is the chairman and chief executive officer of Metro-Goldwin-Mayer Film.
