Trinidad Picks Delegates For Welfare ParleyGleaner Trinidad CorrespondentPORT-OF-SPAIN, Nov. 30:—The Hon. Georgiana Heckles, legislator, and Mrs. Gemma Ramkeesoon, have been selected to represent Trinidad at the Social Welfare Conference taking place early next year in Jamaica.The Trinidad delegates were chosen by ballot at a meeting of 20 representatives of the Welfare Association of this colony, and it is understood that Government will bear travelling expenses of the' delegates.
