Buell Manufacturing Company, Racine Woolen Mills and Pendleton Woolen Mills, the only one still in business.There are also traditional blankets designed by the Hudson’s Bay Company of Canada, which are still being produced.Also featured are limited edition blankets designed by contemporary fiber artists Ramona Sakicstewa and Wendy Ponca.Finally, a distinct Santa Fe-stvle bedroom setting by interior designer C-athleen Stewart of the Design Place in North Chelmsford illustrates the popularity of Native American designs in home furnishings. She has incorporated paintings bv IiOwell artist Dan Rocha in her display.Ownke Tase of Dracut, an elder in the Greater Lowell Indian Cultural Association, praised the exhibit last week during a preview tour“It is wonderful that the museum is presenting this exhibit.
