Another Bath woman who has taken up driving her own car is Mrs. H. D. Bacon who handle's it like a veteran and just as successfully as she has handled some of the speed boats built by the Bath Marine Con-J struction company.—F. J. Nichols and Captain Charles F. Staples of Bowdoinham, accompanied by their wives attended the Pop Concert Monday night. Captain Staples told the Independent that it was Xhe first time he has been inside Music Hall for more than 30 years but that 6ome of the pleasantest-times of his life he had enjoyed under that roof. —Mr. and Mrs. George Curtis of Boston are not to open their summer home at Small Point this year but instead will motor about Europe for several weeks.—Col. Harry W. Anderson and family of Exeter, N. Hv, are planning to spend a part of the summer at the Anderson cottageat Small Point.%
