C., to the Val-, i paraiso university auditorium Friday night at 8 p. m. to be the ! principal speaker for the club's ; first forum of the year.Miss Aszkenazy was recommended to the club by Dr. Karol Ripa.1 consul general of Poland in Chica-! go, as “an outstanding Polish i woman. She will speak on the subject, “Poland's Contribution to the Allied Cause. Today she is. lecturing at International House, University of Chicago. She gave three lectures in Chicago lastspring, one at the Engineers' club of Chicago, one at the Cordon club ! and one before the University ] Friends of Poland, a group of about 300 persons.Miss Aszkenazv received her; earliest education at Milano, Italy,later in Paris at the Lycee Victor Durvy. and finally at the Lycee j Francais de Loudres in 1929-30. 1 From 1930-1933 Miss Aszkenazy i was at the Lycee Francais de Varsovie and obtained her B. A.I degree. She completed her studies | from 1934-1936 at the University of Geneva, department of economical and social science. She speaks and writes the following languages: Polish, French, German and English.Appearing with the Polish speaker is Miss Jessie Swanson, senior student, who will give a brief introductory talk concerning the geography of Poland In relation to its present problem.The meeting is open to the public and townspeople are cordially invited to attend and take part in the discussion following
