New to football action in the AA circuitTo 34-14 WinBy Defeating Field Of 54 CaraOver LionsBALTIMORE, Sept. 29—{AV-The Baltimore Colts winged to a 34-14 lootball victory over the Detroit Lions today on the passing of quarterback John Unitas and a brutal ground defense.Unitas passed for the four Colttouchdowns while his defense line held the Lions to 23 yards to ruinHarold Goden of Boswell won the fourth annual Tri-State championship title purse Sunday in the big 150 lap race on the half-mile track |t Heidelberg.The firstplace purse was worth $1,200. Goden, who is well-knownin racing circles in this area, also picked up another $235 in lap money to bring his total winnings for the race to $1,435.
