Doan TakingBig Leaguerson Trip VestBarnstorming Trip to WestCoast and Return Outlined by MuscatineMan.Ray Doan, Muscatine baseball manager, who recently completed his season with the House of David nine, which he manages, left today for St. Louis, where on Sunday he will pick up “Dizzy Dean, “Pepper Martin and Paul Dean for a barnstorming tour through the northwest and along the westcoast.Doan, who has the players under contract, will play them with home town teams against all-star aggregations from neighboring cities.The schedule calls for games at Kansas City Monday, Concordia, Kas. Tuesday, Oxford, Neb., on Wednesday, Denver on Thursday, Salt Lake City Friday afternoon, Ogden, Utah on Friday night andSpokane, Wash., Sunday, Oct. 8. Tacoma will be visited Oct. 9, Portland Oct. 10 and Los Angeles Oct. 15, with some exhibitions probably between the l?*st two dates.The group will return by way of Phoenix, San Antonio and i Houston to St. Louis by Oct. 20.
