Spencer Beats Buena VistaGlon Poderson Post. Wins Football Game Willi Storcu Lake Team 21 to 0.The Spencer American Legion football team defeated a Buena Vista College eleven 21 to 0 in the first game of the local season at Leach Park Friday afternoon.George Clapper, one of Spencer's brightest stars, was erippded and incapacitated for further play early in the second period by an inexcusable assault. A Buena Vista player attacked Clapper with knee and elbow while he was down and broke Clapper’s cheekbone and two pf hisriba,When it was seen that Clapper could not play any more that day, he was carried half unconscious to an automobile and taken to a doc*tor.
