Osooon, Sept. 26.Correspondence of the Independent.An exciting game of base ball was played at the Ripley County Fair Grounds,Osgood, on Tuesday, 27th inst., between the Black Crooks of Pierccville, and the Reynards of Versailles, which resulted in favor of the Black Crooks, by a score of 40 to 19, being the second defeat of the Reynards by the Black Crooks.
