Girls Tennis Team Shuts Out Iriad 6-0The girls Interscholastic tennis team at Edwardsville High School remained unbeaten Thursday afternoon, blanking Triad on the local courts 6-0.On Tuesday, in its initial meet, the team had stopped Wood River 7-4.Ail matches Thursday were doubles.It was the season opener for Triad, Edwardsville coach Kay Hyten said.All o£ our teams looked good. I believe it Is impossible to single cut one over another,” Miss Hyten said after the sweep.Miss Hyten did add that Rhonda Cannon’s serve was good. She netted several aces.
