Seeing their first action the new addition to the circuit gave a well balanced performance.United Collegiate opened a 2-0 advantage in the first half before Salvation Army had it 2-1 going into the second frame. A pair of unanswered goals by UC in the second stanza salted the victory away.Wayne Harvin. center half for United Collegiate, provided both first half goals for his squad. He opened the goalget-ting at 8.15 of the frame on a pass from George Learn an and was back four minutes later for a 2 0 score as he tallied on a long drive after taking a short pass from Clar Kradsham.Kick Butt cot the lone SAC marker at 15.45 of the first half. He blasted a penalty shot into the low right corner for the tally with l*C goalie Dave Ol’ms having no chance.Herb Jenkins opened a 31 spread for United Collegiate at1.30 of the second half whenhe gave SAC netminder Gordon Butt no play on a penalty shot.
