Wildcats Win First ConferenceGame, 13 to 0(By Bobby Jones)The Neosho Wildcats came through in fine style last night by setting the Lamar Tigers back on their haunches 13 to 0.Fred Hadley scored In the first quarter after a 25 yard pass from McCullough to Rose, and Jeffers added an extra point by conversion. It was Hadley again in the third quarter scoring our second 6 points of the game.This was our second win of the season and our first conference victory. The boys seemed to have something last night that they’ve lacked in practice all week.Lamar made a desperate attack in the fourth quarter and held the ball during most of the last frame but a fumble near the goal line with Neosho recovering halted the drive until the whistle blew ending the game.The boys proved that they really have wh.it it takes to win ball games.
