Rival Lawrence ChibsWiD Do Battle Sunday IThe Green Brothers and Journal- •World baseball clubs will go into I battle' at 3 o’clock Sunday after- lt;noon to settle the question of local |: baseball supremacy. The teams have not met this year and observers seem to be equally divided as to | the relative strength of the two nines.The Journal-V orld club was first organized as a Douglas County Baseball association entrant but went into independent baseball after the dose of the first league session. The club later won the Green Brothers tournament but did not play the Greens in doing so.The Green Brothers club has been regarded as an outstanding semi-pro dub for several seasons. Under the management of ElsyDavis the Greens have met some of the fastest dubs obtainable in-duding the Kansas Citv Monarchs and the House of David.Ed Wapp will probably be on the mound for the Greens with Long-staff of Topeka doing the rulingfor the Journal-World dub.
