There were twelve entries and J. R. Ruble, of ^ Chicago, not only captured the prike, but $40 in money. The match was fifty targets, unknown angles, and Ruble broke them all. This shoot was scheduled to begin at13 o’clock, regardless of other events. Fifty singles, unknown angles; entrance, $5. First prize, medal and $30. Thirty dollars will be equally divided between the next six highest guns. Mr. Ruble captured thd $5 prize offered by the LeFever gun company, also the $5 offered by the DuPont smokeless powder company. He used a LeFever gun and DuPont powder.Reeder won the $5 purse for the best score with Schultz powder, and Arch Elijah won the silver cup offered for the best score made by a marksman under 25 years of age.
