A Resume oft* the International fit HieItlatch at Creedmoor-The AggregateScores of the American and IrishTennis,'That tlie international rifle match betweenthe American and Irish Rifle Teams at Creed moor awakened the interest of all classes, was seen in the attendance of spectators. In tile afternoon there were not liBi than from 7,000 to 8,000 persons on the ground. Among the number were many representative men from ibis city and New York.The riflemen were all on the ground soon after 10 o'clock. The choice of targets was won by Major Leech of the Irish Team. He chose Nos. 10 and 17. The Americans look 19 and 20. Two scorers were apl pointed, one by the Irish and ono by the American Team. They watched the shots through field glasses. Jost before the firing begau Major Leech presented Mr. Wingate, ihe Captain of the American Team with a badge similar to that won by himself. The Iriwh Team shot with the Rigby muzzle leader, tieut. Fulton, L. L, Hepburn and Coiouel Bodine, of the American, used the Remington breechloader, while Colonel Gildcrsleeve, G. w. Yale and General Daken, used Sharpe’s target rifle. Tha members of the American Team were all in good condition. Mr. Johnson, of the Irish Team, suffered much from the heat, and his shooting was a little uncertain. Captain Walker, of tho Irish Team, fired firstand missed tho target. Colonel Giidersletve, of the American, followed with a centre Bhot. The Americana thus having a lead in the 800 yard range, steadilyimproved on it. Lieutenant Fulton did the host shooting at this range. Ho made seven bull’s eye3 in succession, then a centre, followed by six successive bull’a eyea, and a centre as a closing shot. Hr. Hamilton, of the Irish Team, also made thirteen bull’s eyes ontefhia fifteen shots.
