Derek at 3 singles played a straight-forward match and it was a good match for him as well.”Logansport (10-7) plays Twin Lakes in a semifinal today in a rematch from last year’s sectional final. The Berries were dethroned last year after having won 11 of the previous 12 titles. But the Berries defeated Twin Lakes 5-0 during the regular season. The match gets underway at 4:45 p.m.The other semifinal pits Lewis Cass against Carroll. Logan defeated Cass 4-1 during the first match of the season and did not play Carroll this year.“We’ve had the edge over those teams but we’ve still got to make sure we stay focused.
