Stu Peppard Is ReturnedEDMONTON (CP)-Stu Peppard of Calgary was re-elected president of the Alberta Amateur Hockey Association at the annual meeting Saturday.Other officers elected1 Included first vice president, eluded first vice - president, George Harvie, Edmonton; second vice - president, Joe Kryczka, Edmonton; executive, Steve Wyker, Edmonton, Key Yates, Wainwright and Mike Martel, Falher. Jarvis Miller of Red Deer was retained as regis-trar-treasurer.Drumheller Miners will have to do without the services of Don JiehiH and Owen Malloy of Red Deer Chevies for most of the season.The association ruled the two can play for Drumheller only for the duration of a European tour.Miners had attempted to sign Rehill and Mailey for the season. The two, who have already signed with Red Deer, have indicated they did not want to rejoin the Chevies after returning from the overseas trip.The meeting upheld a ruling made by Peppard and junior chairman Ernie Smalian that Edmonton Oil Kings and Calgary Buffaloes be given permission to join the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League.The AAHA announced it is attempting to stage exhibitions in Alberta with Polish and Japanese national teams, who will tour Canada early this winter.
