DisstesS Keeps Chiefs Alivej ROCHESTER, NY. (AP) — Bob Dustal of the Syracuse Chiefs made the right move as acting manager when he decided to call on himself as a relief pitcher Friday night.Dustal saved a 5-4 Syracuse victory over Rochester here, keeping the Chiefs alive in the International League Governors Cup final playoff. The win cut Rochester’s lead in the best-of-seven series to 3-2 and set the stage for Saturday night’s sixth game in Syracuse.Dustal snuffed out a Rochester rally in the seventh inning after the Chiefs had broken a 4-4 tie in the top of the inning on a two-out single by Willie Horton. Dustal blanked the Red Wings in the eighth and ninth.He had taken over as acting manager after Manager Frank Carswell and Syracuse pitcher Paul Foytack were ejected in the sixth'inning.
