Hill toppersClose FirstGolf SeasonThe I-Iilltoppers of Hillcrest Golf Course climaxed their first season yesterday with an Awards Luncheon at Pefti’s Al*pine Village.Taking home trophies for the organization’s major tournament this year were Mrs, Robert Donnelly, flight I winner, and Mrs. John Starcher, winner of flight 2. Runners-up were Mrs. Lake Kissick, flight I, and Mrs. Kenneth Teske, flight 2.Mrs. Don Kocher and Mrs. C. E, Milam, most improved players in the organization, also received awards.The luncheon had been arranged by Mrs. Milam assisted by Mrs. Don Fox and Mrs. Donnelly. Others attending: Mrs. Frank Heilman, Mrs. Louis Din-dal, Mrs. Howard Shank, Mrs. George Gray, Mrs. J. B. Reynolds, Mrs. Harold Wirtz, Mrs. F. Brooks Thomas, Mrs. Richard Baker, Mrs. Emory Michel, Mrs. Merle Conway and Mrs. Richard Fenton.The trophies golf balls andmarkers were used as table decorations. Favors of golfing objects marked each place. Door prizes were awarded to Mrs. Dindal and Mrs. Heilman.Mrs. Don Kocher and Mrs. C. E. Mrs. Donnelly will be chairman for the 1965 season.Egbert s Home Furnishings Store was the scene of the Blanchard Valley Dancers party Wednesday night. A camping trip was planned at East Harbor State Park for the weekend of Oct. 17 and 18. Anyone interested in attending the trip should contact the president,Norman Layne.Calling the dances was Dean Dreyer, while Mr. and Mrs.Salad SatisfierShred western iceberg lettuce and fold into slightly thickened celery • flavored gelatin with diced pimiento and coarsely chopped ripe olives. Turn into individual molds. Chill until firm.A bowl of canned apple sauce mixed with raisins and chopped nuts will satisfy after-school hunger without spoiling appetites for the evening meal. A glass of milk is a good bet with this, too.
