Fourth Quarter.O'Bier advanced through the center to the 38. and Mundy plunged off right tackle to the 43 and a tirst down for the Eagles. Alford fought off interference to throw O'Bier back to the 38 yard line. Mundy‘s pass to O’Bier was incomplete. Mundy quick-kicked out on Rockdale 42.Morris picked up 2 through the center to the 44. but Crane's pass to Alford fell incomplete, followed by 3 yard gain by Crane through center. Crane punted out on the Lexington 38.Mundy moved the ball around right end to the 42. and O’Bier to the 47. Frosh plunged off tackle to the Rockdale 49 for a first down. Mundy raced 13 yards lor another Tirst down for the Eagles, and O’Bier advanced to the 33. Mundy gained 2 yards in two tries off tackle and his attempted pass to Sides was incomplete. Rockdale gained posession of the ball on downs on their own 31.Love gained 9 yards around right end to the 40, and Morris crashed through the center to the 43. for a first down for the Tigers. Crane plunged off left tackle to the 50. and then off right tackle to the Lexington 45. for another first down, as the announcement of only three minutes left to play was given. Morris then lateraled to Crane on the 43. who was downed on the 40. Morris’ pass to Alford was incomplete. Morris picked up 2 through the center to the 38. and Crane plunged otf tackle to the 31 for a first down. Love scampered 12 around left end for another first down. Crane received a lateral from Kyle on the 21 and scam-peerd over the goal for six points, with only 45 seconds left in the game. Crane faked an attempt to kick and ran the ball over for the extra point, to make the score 7 for Rockdale, and 6 for Lcxing-nlt; kicked for Rockdale and e of Lexington received on vii 30, returning the ball to !. They lost their tirst game this year to Caldwell. 26-7. and came back to win from Marlin in the second, 18-0.Taylor, usually a power in the district but apparently a weak-sister this year, is scheduled to meet New Braunfels at home.The Ducks were trampled by Franklin in their number one tilt, 33-13. and were stomped by Gates-ville last Friday, 25-0.
