Bonaventure wins over St. Sebastian(t was a long time in coming, but Si Bonavenuire finally hung on to defeat the Big Red of St Sebastian The 8-6 win marked the first St Bonaventure victory over St Sebastian since the Dwsctan program inception ftve years ago The contest featured- tough defensive play on both sides St Bona venture^ scored earl tn the game when Bob Crimes*'block broke Dave Eichenlaub loose for a 25 yard touchdown run A pass from John Kuxemchak to Dave Anncy added the two point conversion that proved to be the winner St Sebastian scored late in the third quarter after recovering a fumble on the Si Bonaventure four-yard line St Sebastian quarterback Bill Sandherr took the ball into the end rone from the one yard line but he was stopped on the conversion attempt Other than a St Bonaventure touchdown that was called back became of a penalty the defenses stopped every offensive dnve St Bnoaventure s Rich Paluso madeseveral key tackles tn addition to intercepting two passes Other key plays were turned in by Kevin Klmvex.
