LOUIS, Sept. 23.—(JP)—Grover Cleveland Alexander set his old teammates down with two hits in two inningslast night, but the St. Louis Cardinalswrent on to beat Alex* House of David squad, 10 to 3. After Alex voluntarily retired the Red Birds combed a total of 11 doubles among 15 hits off Miller, Collins getting three of them.Dizzy Dean, pitching the last five innings for the Cards, fanned eight men, including six in a row.
