CAP)—Grover Cleveland Alexander and his bearded ball players from Tho House of David fought a losing fight last night against the Cardinals at Sportsman’s Park, tho scene of Old Pete’s” former triumphs.Although Alex set his former teammates down with two hits in two Innings, the Red Birds went on to beat the whiskered visitors 10 to 3.
