Alonzo Robles and John Cunnison scored first-half goals for the Missionaries and Urban Dahulha rebounded a missed shot and put it in the goal for an insurance score in the second half. Troy Ne-hring assisted Robles on his goal while Cunnison’s was scored unassisted.Whitman, 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the Northwest Conference, has another home match Wednesday at 4 p.m. when Whitworth comes to town.The Missionary women’s team, meanwhile, battled Linfield to a 1-1 tie in a match played in McMinnville. Norma Peralta scored Whitman’s goal at the 40-minute mark to tie the score.The Whitman women are 2-1-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.
