This Sunday, September 25th is the day set for the mens curling club annual golf tournament.The day should be good for some fun, fellowship and good golf, maybe make up that special rink for this winter’s curling. The club championship and who know’s the brier is in Victoria, B.C. this year.Last years winner of the tournament Brian White will be back to defend thechampionship.Bill Schneider from Benito who lost to Brian on a countback should be back to try again.Hope Gordon Moffatt (membership chairman for curling) is there, maybe he can sign up a few rink’s, and maybe do some golfingElmer topped the seniors last year. I don’t think being another year older should stop him from playing again this year.Last year’s chairman Jud should be able to give all his attention to his golf game this year and Bert Jonc has a new set of trophies made, hope the president shows his golfingability.I know we have a lot of good curler’s in the valley This is a chance for them to show their golfing skills.
