Hazelwood defeated the colored A. C^s of Indianapolis in a game here .ast Sunday by a score of 9 to 2. The game was featured by the heavy hitting of Bill Bailey, Hazelwood's 2nd baseman, and the battery work of Mynatt and Johnson. Bailey made 2 three-base hits, one two-base hit and ,ia single out of four times at bat. Mynatt struck out 16 men and allov/ed but three hits and gave no walks, Next Sunday the Indianapolis All Stars play here and a red hot battle is promised. This team is colored. On October 1st the Hazelwood team crosses bats at Washington Park, Ind- . ianapoiis, with the City Hall team of that place and the boys are looking forward to a hot fight on this fastdiamond.
